To backup your Galaxy S5 using Kies 3:
- Download and install the Samsung Kies 3 software.
- When the installation is complete, connect your phone to your PC, then launch the Kies 3 software.
- Click the Back up/Restore tab, then select Data backup.
- Here, you can select the individual items that you would like to backup or check Select all items.
- Click the Backup button to start backing up. The destination folder is shown at the bottom of the Back up/Restore screen.
Note: Your backup can take a long time depending on how much data you’re backing up.
